This marine aquarium hydrometer has a range of 1.000-1.030 specific gravity. This is the usual parameters for testing salt water in the aquarium. Based on principal physics they will never need to be recalibrated and are unlikely to break down. Calibration temperature :  25º C.

Natural Wave is a multi-cycle aquarium pump timer, suitable for the creation of water flowing from several directions. It has three timed outlets and one standard outlet for connection to other electrical appliances. Natural Wave avoids stagnant areas forming, where waste may accumulate and cause pollution of the water. Suspended sediment is more readily removed by the filtering system. The water flow and alternate cycles help prevent invertebrates being covered by excess mucus, and facilitate the capture of suspended food. Natural Wave stimulates the development of live corals and of all sessile organisms. Timing patterns from 20 seconds to three minutes.

Is the professional method of removing Phosphate and Silicate in all types of Aquariums and Ponds. It has the largest absorption ability of any phosphate product and will not leach back in to the water. This saves the need for immediate removal once the media is full. The product is easy to use and will improve the water quality wherever Phosphate or Silicate is a problem. It is of interest to Marine and Reef Aquariums where its unrivalled capabilities have shown it to be extremely beneficial in the control of nuisance algae’s and the growth of hard corals. Unlike other phosphate removal products, it does not shock the animals or cause problems when used regularly. Infact constant use of the product is recommended, as its abilities to control nuisance algae is a major benefit.

MarineSnow is a plankton-like food for filter-feeding marine invertebrates. This first of its kind product reproduces the special biogenic suspended matter found in natural sea water. These aggregates, collectively called ‘marine snow’ by ocean researchers, are known to be an important element in the food chain of marine ecosystems. They have been a missing element in closed system aquaria until now. MarineSnow is a food for tropical and cold water marine animals that feed on particulate and dissolved organic matter, phytoplankton and zooplankton. MarineSnow is based on the components of ocean plankton, it does not contain yeast or egg solids, and is blended to provide food packages of the right size range for filter feeders.

The formula includes suspended microscopic particles ranging in size from under 0.2 microns (colloids) up to 150 microns, and it forms macroscopic snow-like aggregates when it mixes with sea water.

Ideal food for soft and stony corals, anemones, hydrozoans, feather duster worms, clams, crinoids (feather stars), sponges, tunicates (sea squirts), foraminiferans, and other filter feeders. Shrimps, brittle stars and even fishes will eat MarineSnow aggregates. MarineSnow therefore replicates plankton feeding behaviours for these creatures.
